In my job, I recruit talented people to work at AbeBooks. Lately though, I have had a difficult time since the unemployment rate is less than 3% in BC.
Here I am dealing with some of the latest candidates.

They like my throwaway lines such as “It doesn’t matter how many donuts and muffins you throw at people. They won’t stay with you until you capture their mind.” Whooooo! Heady stuff. I am in tune with Mr.and Mrs. Working Man. I really love people. REALLY!

I have the flu. So does my friend Ron. What hope does one have when people insist on going to work sick and spewing germs everywhere? This is a dark and vicious bug which only responds to tequila and Neo Citron. Chemistry aside, it is the third bug that I have succumbed to in as many months. It occured to me last night, after watching Cold Case Files, that Joe might be poisoning me for the insurance. I am on the mend however because I received this good and timely advice.
